New Orleans 1984 Preservation Resource Center, single 2-bay Shotgun House Irish Channel Historic Architectural District
December 14, 2009
on Constance st near 2nd
A single Italianate shotgun uptown in the Irish Channel. The porch roof is painted a sky blue, and means one of two things, one that is simply a visual cue suggesting the blue sky above, or of more interest a sign that the residents have a daughter who has come of age and may be courted by the proper suitors.
