A single Italianate shotgun uptown in the Irish Channel. The porch roof is painted a sky blue, and means one of two things, one that is simply a visual cue suggesting the blue sky above, or of more interest a sign that the residents have a daughter who has come of age and may be courted by the proper suitors.
